World maths day

On Wednesday 2nd March The Oval School celebrated world maths day.
Throughout the day we did lots of different maths activities and some of us bought in maths games from home.
Some of us dressed up as maths related things and Shauna Leslie won best dressed in class 2.3.
Here are some photos from the day.

Dr Mark did a number of experiments including exploding water, using water to fire a rocket, a showing us how you could put holes in a bottle but the water wouldn't come out. However Dr Mark made sure some of us got wet!

Think tank 20/1/16

On Wednesday Year 2 went on a fantastic trip to the Think tank. We learnt lots of interesting facts about science, and because it is an interactive museum we were able to press lots of buttons and play lots of fun games whilst learning at the same time.
